Discord is only for 13+ because their can be bad people on discord like, mean people and other stuff like that!

First of all, COPPA states that if an under 13 has parental permission, they can get data collected, which means they are technically allowed to use Discord. Many ppl under 13 also want to chat. Some children have friends they want to chat with easily during the pandemic.

Discord can be used in an inappropriate way sometimes, like some discord servers can have nsfw channels and a lot of horny men are on there. I got discord when I was 11 and I truly regret it. I started doing things i never thought i would do online but just to be safe if you haven’t already installed it. Please don’t or at least wait until you’re 13+!
